Lauren Kane: I am a studio art student at California State University San Bernardino. I have recently begun learning the art of taxidermy; specifically in birds. All dead animals are found dead. I do not condone hunting or the unnecessary killing of animals. In fact, I love animals and using them in both my 2-D and taxidermy work is a way to honor them both biologically and aesthetically.
